This week has been one of the best yet!! The kids worked all week long on really cool activities. They worked really hard on their "made up animal" project, which consisted of creating an imaginary animal and writing about it. This is something that we felt would help with some school prep, as well as get their imaginations running. Along with that we made home made bird houses, animal related crafts, and played a KZ version of angry birds!! Enjoy the pictures and video below :)

On Tuesday, the class adopted a pet for the day! Meet our Box Turtle, Augustus.
We learned that not only is the Box Turtle the state turtle, they also live to be 100 years old or more! Their diet consists of fruit and plants, and they enjoy the land and the water. A big thanks to Sydney and Sabrina for taking him home to set him free!!
