This week is Happy Birthday USA week! We will be preparing a first ever Kid Zone 4th of July parade. This parade will be for the kids during Kid Zone hours. We will "march" around Kid Zone with our home made mini-floats, posters, and whatever else our kids come up with! We will also be making home-made confetti poppers to pop on the 4th of July. Remember, Kid Zone will be CLOSED all day on Friday, July 4th! See below for this week's Peek of the Week!

Water Week Wackiness!

This week is water week and we wanted the Kid Zone kids to get soaked! We played water balloon bullseye, "drip, drip, drop" (duck, duck, goose...but with water), water balloon toss, "marble toes," and water limbo! And that was just Monday! 

Tuesday Kid Zone visited Camp GuilRock and enjoyed some fun in the sun in the pool and a picnic by the lake

The rest of Water Week will be filled with water relay races to keep the kids cool in the hot sun! 

**If your kids have water shoes at home, they are an awesome way to keep them safe while running around outside without the worry of them getting wet. Also please remember to use sunscreen before coming to Kid Zone to ensure the healthiest of skin for all of our kids this summer :)

On to the Next Week!

We hope everyone had a wonderful first week of summer! We enjoyed playing games and working together as a team. Everyone showed some awesome sportsmanship and teamwork!

Next week is WATER WEEK! It will be a fantastic relief from the scorching heat outside!

Summer is Here!

We apologize for the delay in updates the past few months..but our blog is now your new best friend!

We will be posting a "Peek of the Week" each Friday for you to prepare for the upcoming summer camp week. These will hopefully alleviate any questions or concerns about where Kid Zone will be going, what your child will be doing, and what your child needs to bring to Kid Zone each day.

The upcoming week of June 16th through the 20th is SPORTS WEEK! We are so excited for Kid Zone kids to use teamwork, show sportsmanship, and have a chance to play their favorite sports.

If you are planning on enrolling your child at Kid Zone for weeks further into the summer, please make sure you return your registration forms ASAP! It is important that we know how many children will attend Kid Zone each week so we can plan accordingly. We have been preparing for summer camp for (what seems like) forever now and we cannot wait to see how everything unfolds!
