Fun Fun Fun!

Even through the school year, Kid Zone likes to plan fun things for the kids to do! In our after-homework art center, the kids did marble painting with Mrs. Gloria in the early part of the week:

The kid's artwork is on display (:

On Friday, the kids got together and painted a cool cardboard picture scene! All painting done by all ages !! This will be used in the church's annual block party on October 11th!

Here are some of the boys building Lego creations in the game room! :

Back in the swing of things!

Here it is 3rd week of school, and the kids are adapting well. We've done a lot of changes, including giving each age group their own rooms for homework time. This is a nice change for both the students and the teachers. It gives the kids the space that they need to focus on age-appropriate assignments, and allows the groups to be smaller so teachers are able to help all the students they need to ! Each month the teachers will change their door decorations to keep the classrooms interesting, so be sure to be on the lookout. Here is this months:

The Kids in the 4th/5th grade room got creative and used themselves as letters!
